I was asked a question a while ago, about how do you go about reverse engineering a game, so I was going to do this on video, but thought this would be a great streaming job, so here it is, Part Thirteen of recoding Jeff Minters Brain and how he developed llamasoft’s GridRunner.
Now that we have finished the reverse engineering of GridRunner, we will now take the code and recode it using modern techniques and see if we can develop it better.
I decide in this video to extended the scope of the project to code this game on all commodore platforms using the one Code Set 🙂
This will be another long running series, so better be prepared for the long haul 😉
